ATHLETICS On the 3rd of november, Puriri and kauri team both had athletics! I was quite exhausted but excited at the same time. When I arrived at the lovelock track Everything was organised and the track looked amazing. It was my 3rd time going to the track during school. I was so excited to do all the really fun activities. I love going to the track because I always learn more techniques and other stuff. My favourite activity was the 800 metre race. The 800 metre run was fun and super challenging because i got to race against very fast people. Running around the track 2 times was hard but that's what made it fun! I was impressed by ANtonio and Isaac because they jumped so high in the high jump! I am proud of myself for doing every race and participating in every event. Next year I hope I can do better and try and complete my goals. Athletics was definitely a super enjoyable experience and I hope I can go to the track soon.

The Big bad Wolfe's point of view

 

           

I was walking in the wood's, Waiting to see a small girl with a bright red coat when... I smelt a big load of juicy pork flying in the air. I hadn't normally targeted animals as much as human's, So I decided to have a small little feast before the dazzling bright coat sparkled my eyes. I was walking along, Sniffing the air when... Suddenly i saw a teeny straw house with a welcome carpet ( who was of course made out of straw.) I didn't know what the little pig was going to be scared of so i decided to sound scary and mean so the pig had no choice but to give up. I cleared my throat and said in a loud voice... Little Pig! Little Pig Let Me In! I after a moment of silence the little pig said in a small little voice, Not By The Hairs of my chinney chin chin! "Then i'll huff and i'll puff and i'll blow your house down." I said. I hadn't blew wind for a long time so I tried my best. Luckily, My breath power was strong enough to blow a straw house. Soon the small straw house tumbled on the ground. I was waiting until the small little pig decided to give up when... He jumped out of his straw window and quickly sprinted to another house which was probably his brothers house. It was made out of sticks and logs. The sticks were used for the roof as were made for the walls. They weren't the best logs if you asked me. So once again I said "Little Pig's Little pig's let me in! And of course they said "Not By the hair's of our chimney chin chin's! Then i said "Then i'll huff, And i'll puff, And i'll blow your house down! And of course i blew and blew until the log house was nothing but a teeny stick house. Suddenly, The two naughty pig's energetically ran to their eldest piggling brother. I was so hungry and it would be a triple pig delight! I was already licking my lips. The eldest pig's house was made of bricks and a chimney and wierdly a ladder at the end of the house. I tried to act polite like the post man but when i saw the three little pig's look out of the window their impretions looked like they were looking at a nasty old witch. I knocked on the door and obviasly said "Little Pig's Little Pig's I just want to join your dinner. But the little pigs weren't stupid enough to fall for that trick. They just shook their small head's. Suddenly i had an idea. Not any idea, An idea! I cautiously climbed up the rusty ladder and jumped into the chimney, But when i was slowly coming down i slimy slug caught my attention. I suddenly slipped and fell into a big steaming pot. "OUCH! OH OOOO!" I was burnt. I quickly sprinted in to the living room and then to the kitchen where i poured myself with i nice cold bucket of water. Then i awkwardly walked out the door. Then i sprinted back home. Then i said to myself, "Maybe next time i should try and get little red riding hood. To Be Continued... ( Next story's name... The girl teams with the pig's)

My Big Brothers Birthday!

 Hey guys, My name is Milo and welcome to my blog. Today is my Big Brothers birthday. He is Turning 13 today. This morning we had waffles and it was delicous! After that i did some of my school work and for lunch we are having dumplings. This morning Cole and his mum came across the fence and gave my big brother a present.  Hey guys, Milo here and welcome to my blog. Here i have made a clown made out of food. I was inspired by hiero and poppy so check out there blogs.  I named my clown name Jaffa because Jaffa's are a red chocolates like clowns noses. Unfortunately I couldn't find one jaffa, I could only find pictures of the packs but that is why i called my clown that. If you want you could make a food design like me and other people in my class. Before i go you may be asking why Jaffa has a squiggly mouth. Jaffa is about to perform infront of a big audience and he is very nervous. What do you think Jaffa the clown can do to calm down? Moving House

I woke up on a lovely saturday morning when… I realized I moved to my new boring house.

 I went to have some breakfast which tasted like dog food and then went outside hoping something tremendously cool would be right in front of his eyes But I just saw some grass and a ginormous tree that was definitely over average size. it was green with old moss and vines sticking out of the strange branches. It looked like an earth god that exploded from under the ground and was abandoned for a long time.

 I saw gushing waves from a waterfall sore across the blue sky while landing in a huge lake that was under It.

 I was getting more used to the place when… a giant eagle swooped down trying to catch me and I was being chased until a loud noise was vibrating under my feet.

 It was loud enough to scare the birds away so I rushed to my house as quickly as a wolf and waited patiently for something to approach.

 I waited for a while but nothing happened so I went outside again to run around the grass when a ginormous turtle head rose up and looked at me confused and scared at the same time.

 I was scared and the turtle was scared. When I introduced myself it just looked at me like it was an ogre. The turtle and I were staring at each other for a long time when I started to fall asleep.

I woke up on a lovely saturday morning and had some breakfast which was delicious and went on the trampoline with my dad. THE END

This is an octopus if you didn't know. I chose this animal because I they are really intelligent. Did you know that octopuses have two hearts. Some octopuses have nine brains I think. If you think you know any facts about octopuses comment in the comment section.

Milo spiced apple cake.

On wednesday my dad and i decided to make a spiced apple cake because my grandma said it is delicous! I didn't like the smell of the microwaved butter for some reason. It was quite simple but fun too!If you have the chance to make this cake you won't need a lot of ingredients.I enjoyed making it so much. When the spiced apple cake came out of the oven I gave l a 7 but when i ate it i gave it a 10! it was really yummy and the flavour was really fantastic!It was pretty big at start but we ate it really fast!!!!The results went pretty good and i really want to make it again. Milo

Facts about niue.

niue  is a small island nation in the south pacific Ocean. It's known for its limestone cliffs and coral-reef dive sites. Migrating whales swim in Niue's waters beween July and October. In the southeast is the Huvalu Forest Conservation Area,where trails through fossilized coral forests lead to the Togo and Vaikona chasms. The northwest is home to the rock pools of Avaiki Cave and the naturally formed Talava Arches. Niue is a large upraised coral atoll, and is a standalone land mass in the centre of a triangle of Polynesian island made up of Tonga, Samoa and the cook islands. Niue is also a very small island. It is only 261.5 km. If you have the chance to go to niue pack your bag fast because it will be a super fun trip.

milo's facts about octupouses

octopuses are fragile and intelligent sea creatures. They have eight tentacles and lots of suckers under there tentacles. Since they have no bones they are able to fit through the smallest gaps you could possibly think of.They are also funny with tools. They can use tools to do random stuff. If your lucky enough to go to an aquarium you just might see an octopus. Lots of the common octopuses are found in the tropical seas throughout the world. milo
